Lay the bow flat with the left side slightly longer than the right
01

Lay it flat

Lay the bow flat and place your Harper + Remi card on top, with the left side slightly longer than the right.

Cross the left side over the right to create the base knot
02

Create the base knot

Cross the left side over the right and pull it through to create your base knot.

Fold the bottom piece toward the right to create the first loop
03

Make the first loop

Fold the bottom piece toward the right to make your first loop.

Bring the top piece over the loop and pull it underneath
04

Pull it through

Bring the top piece over the loop, tuck it underneath, and pull it straight through. You’ll have one loop on the right and two loose tails on the left—one short and one long.

Fold the longer tail underneath the shorter tail
05

Form the second loop

Take the longer tail and fold it underneath the shorter one to form the second loop.

Hold the knot securely while pulling the headband fabric
06

Secure the bow

Hold the knot securely, then gently pull the headband fabric to tighten the knot and enlarge the band.

Pro tip

Keep the center soft. Oversized bows look best when they aren’t pulled too tight.
